solutions that reduce or eliminate the costs of equipment and the costs of
maintaining local resources needed to operate your business.
We
offer a full range of technical support options to support your Remote Desktop
Business Solution deployment, and you no longer have to worry about the safety
of your data because MSD makes sure it is protected and available.
Service Fees
Service
fees for MSD's Remote Desktop Business Solutions vary depending on the level of
services you request, but the costs of our standard business services are
pretty easy to figure out. There are four elements that combine to determine
your monthly service fees:
1.
For all Terminal Service deployments, a base monthly fee of
$99.00 per month applies. This fee covers cost of electricity, cooling
(Air-condition), your own dedicated server, and server rack space, server
storage space up to 50 Gigs of data.
2.
For each end-user subscriber account MSD charges a desktop
fee of $24.95 per month. This fee covers a proportion of the Internet fiber
feed, and labor costs required to service your account. This fee also recovers
the cost of Microsoft Terminal Service SALS (Subscriber Access Licenses),
operating system licensing fees, networking services (firewall) and certain
other expenses incurred on your behalf.
3.
For each customer
supplied business application (or, if appropriate, for each primary application
component3) MSD charges a $75.00 monthly service fee for the first
application and $25.00 per month for each additional application.
4.
Data Backup Service is
a backup of your data. MSD offers what is called Incremental back up.
Incremental backup is where your data is backed up each night of the week,
Monday to Friday. As the backup rotates to the next week it starts to overwrite
the week before, always keeping one week’s data in storage

If you choose to enhance your subscription by adding data
backup service monthly rental fee applies. Backup fees are as follows:

Let's
assume that you have a one custom application that you wish to have hosted. How
much would this cost?
Well,
assuming that you need to support desktops for eight people, here's how to
calculate your monthly fee:

In
this example, your average monthly fee per user is $59.75 per month ($298.75
divided by 5).
One-Time
setup fees vary with each deployment and are custom quoted based on the number
of end-users and the number of applications being deployed. For the
five-subscriber example shown above, one-time setup fees are estimated at
$446.25. A minimum three-user subscription is required.
All
fees are quoted based on an annual service term agreement. Shorter-term
agreements are available on request. Additional service fees may apply if you
require custom desktops for specific individuals or groups of individuals.
